Mediteranean water is just so amazingly crystal clear – at least it is in Majorca. Visibility is absolutely amazing which I really like because to be quite honest, if I can’t see the bottom it unsettles me a little (I’m just not as brave as I think I am 😕) The beach is really beautiful, we went in March so it was still fairly early in the season but plenty of people about, especially cyclists on the roads. We drove all the way out to the Cap Formentor viewing point and cafe and I really recommend the drive it was beautiful. A side trip we did was a train trip from Palma up to the beautiful old town of Soller and we then caught a tram down to the marina for the most delicious paella and sangria lunch by the water.
